PENANG: Sunway City Bhd (SunCity) has unveiled its latest residential development in Penang called Sunway Aspera with an estimated gross development value of RM47 million.
The freehold development comprises 76 units of 2-storey and nine units of 3-storey terraced homes in a relaxing seaside environment in Sungai Batu, Penang. The lot sizes are 20ft by 60 ft and 20ft by 65ft for the 2-storey terraced and 22ft by 70ft for 3-storey terraced houses. Prices start from RM495,000. Some 40% of the units have been sold since the official launch of the first phase in March.
“The launch of Sunway Aspera is another addition to our portfolio of properties in Penang and we intend to solidify our presence here further with new launches in the future,” said SunCity’s managing director of property development Ho Hon Sang in a statement on Friday May 7.
Sunway Aspera follows the success of the Group’s well-received development, Sunway Bukit Gambier which comprises of 3-storey courtyard homes, 3-storey semi-detached homes and 3-storey bungalows in Bukit Gelugor, Penang.
The group has been building properties in Penang since 1992 with the Seberang Jaya township, which comprised 3-storey shop offices while the first residential project was Sunway Tunas in Bayan Baru comprising 2-storey terraced houses and commercial shop houses.
